I had to run a similar baler at 1300 rpms the other day to help keep the front build up to a minimum. I had shifted up so I was also running 6.5mph. Turn the baler slow and keep your ground speed up to keep the pickup full when conditions are dry.
Sometimes it best to come back after supper.
