I'm just going to throw this out there:
If you are leaning towards integrated steering, because you are tired of the noise and clunking of an older Ez-steer unit (on steering wheel); you shouldn't compare that older design to the "new stuff" .
I've just installed 2 Ag Leader Steadysteer systems, and used the JD8410 SteadySteer for 2 days replanting soybeans (Hailed out) and you can't even hardly hear the MDU (Motor Drive Unit) over the engine noise at 1750 rpms. ( AND I don't listen to the radio; so that wasn't muffling any noise, either)
I was very impressed, on very low noise levels, and how well it steered, even using WAAS and an older GPS1600 reciever (but it is 10 Hz capable = minimum necessary for SteadySteer)
Note: used to have an older Ez-steer (came with the used JD8410 tractor) so I know the additional noise they can create.
