Oh brother Gary. Just saying do you think if he put more weight on them he would have made money instead of breaking even. And don’t pout.

with corn at $8 it was or is a losing game-real simple math puts cost of gain at $1.60 a # to cover all cost with ($8 corn 20xprice of corn)
a 400# heifer is a lot different animal to feed then a 600# steer,My brother tracks everything down to if we got a beer out of his fridge or I brought the beer when you look over the fence at them! I would trust his math! He enjoys selling $8 corn with a truck-myself not so much
