We furrow irrigate and 38 inch beds work way better for us,biggest advantage tho is in the spring here when cold wet is murder on little cotton ,I’ve seen the very slightest amount of difference in the height of the bed make the difference in a stand of cotton and seed rotting,38 is much easier to get a tall bed with
