From my experience…it’s the size of your lens that is the problem. I wore progressives lenses for years & never once had any trouble with them. I also wore contacts that were progressive & again…not a bit of trouble. Then I had cataract surgery & ended up needing glasses for certain things. I tried a smaller frame & I had all the issues you described. I hated them & finally gave up on that pair. I went back & got a pair with a bigger area & now I get along fairly well. I won’t say they are perfect but I believe part of that comes from the lenses that I had put in for the cataracts. There is just so much space in a shorter lens to make everything work & it’s a very fine line to get them perfect. Like I said…this is just from my experience….but I’ve worn glasses since I was in 2nd grade so been thru a lot of them!!
