Subject: RE: Dribbling N behind planter closers

Hardin County, IA
Here is our setup. Yetter twisters which are the same thing as cruisers. Then a TT300 and a drag chain. Seems to work good. Running ATS to help stabilize N and humic/fulvic acid. More often than not we are wet in the spring so loss isn't a huge worry. The bonus is no ground engaging parts added to the planter to break, bend or maintain. Mainly covers with no till and some strip till. Got a neighbor that put bandits on this year, I haven't talked to him to see how they are working, sounds like they eat bearings though.
