Southeast North Dakota | Versatiles have always had band duals with tie-rod bolts holding them on. And they all should have the interlocking tabs to keep them in line.
Yes, the 936 through 976 were good tractors. They had the near bulletproof 855 Big Cam Cummins w/aftercoolers, large axles and planetaries, and enough hydraulics to run orbit motors on airseeders. Like any older Versatile they should have weight added to utilize their power more, but that's about the only thing they needed. JMHO. | |
