I like trying multiple varieties and “spreading out my risk”, but talking to a couple fellas makes me think I’m making things too hard on myself mentally...

How many soybean varieties would you plant on say 1200 acres?

we are 7, ranging from a 2.4 to a 3.2 and then a 3.5 bean also for an 80.

Folks are telling me they are more like 4 max in our situation (dad and I together).

I will say it seems like we always have a smooth transition in fall from variety to variety (maturity) and typically have something to cut once we get started...
