Here in California the state runs a program called Carl Moryer Program. It is a cost sharing program to reduce diesel emissions. You can replace old tier 0 engines with electric motors or new tier 3-4 engines. You sign a contract for a determined time length from 1-4 years and hour requirement that engine will run in that time frame. This program will replace well engines, semi engines, tractor engines, basically any diesel engine out there that is a "gross polluter" in the states opinion. I have received funds for two engines diesel to diesel and one diesel to electric. Its a good program in our area helps with the cost of new engines and our states air quality requirements.

so you replaced a mechanical diesel with an electronic diesel ? , sooner or later you will be sorry for that .

i just see way too many electronic parts replaced , none of them are cheap .
