Almost all outlook data is stored in a single file. Search your old computer for *.PST and find the one with the newest time. You then need to get that file over to your new computer via USB flash drive, network connection, etc. Make sure to just copy the file, so that the original is still there in case you need to do it again.

On the new machine, open outlook and set up a new profile. Don't put your e-mail password in yet, so that it doesn't log in and download any e-mail from the server to your empty PST file. Once the profile is up, close Outlook and go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, Mail. Somewhere in there will be a data file setting, and it should give you an "open folder" option to show you where it put the file. You need to put your old PST file in that folder, then add that PST file to the outlook profile, set it as the default file, and then remove the original empty one.

Your contacts are usually in the PST file, but sometimes can be stored in a different address book file. Don't worry about this until you have the PST working. The only other thing I'm aware of that doesn't transfer is the safe senders list for your junk e-mail folder. I don't know if that can be transferred.
