Subject: RE: Reducing N with hog manure

NW IN
I apply about 200 acres of liquid hog manure in November or early December and count on 80 percent of n being available for next corn crop. This is nursery and farrowing manure so not as concentrated as finisher manure. I get about 8000 gal per acre figuring 200 bu corn. Usually add about 30 gal of 28 late sidedress if crop shows promise.
