East Central Nebraska | I run a coulter cart with coulters mainly because my tractor is not heavy enough to put on 3 point and drill came with this setup. Many of my neighbors dont have coulters and get along fine. All no-till. I would disagree with not having enough down pressure as it is really no different than a case ih planter. I could plant down a gravel road with mine. there is a case ih 5400 drill that is light duty and could see that one needing coulters. I'd say you will be fine. | |
