Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Those who have followed my posts in the past can predict my advice - go with the Ag Leader. True the Insight is old and been replaced by the Integra and now the InCommand 1200 but the Insight will work with the majority of the current Ag Leader Modules. It has a very logical human interface which I did not find with the Trimble products. I have no experience with the GFX that you mention and it is likely better than the Trimble units I have experienced. My experience is with the EZ-Guides and CFX-750.
Auto steer with an Insight was/is possible with an auto steer unlock. That is no longer available. The Insights that have the steering unlock will work with a Trimble Nav II. I used this combination for several years.
You do not mention yield monitoring/mapping. The Ag Leader would be a clear winner in that situation. |
