I just set up an Arduino with an LCD screen for mine. Couldn't stomach the near $1000 it was going to take to remotely display a $250 set of scales.
Took a lot of research and learning a bit of coding, and a bit of help, but it does work.
I was only out $100 or so in hardware.
Stressful but fun to do.
