Northeast SD | I had a few shingles off too. Hope you get some much needed rain....and we miss it this coming weekend. We've had around 6 inches this spring, and similar last fall. We were in great shape, but this last one put us over the edge especially with these cold temps. If we get 1.5 inches this coming weekend and the cold stays, we will be in trouble with acres up here. We got about half of our small grain in, and not sure if we will get the rest in or not. I wasn't sure we were doing the right thing at the time, as we actually hit some frost while seeding in some higher trash areas, but overall it went in quite nice. Time will tell....good luck. | |
