Subject: RE: Corn

Nw Iowa
Agree Delta. It will go higher than anyone thinks possible and lower than anyone thinks possible. Cure for high priced markets is high prices and cure for low markets is low prices. I am more concerned now about putting extra cash away to get ready for losses or opportunities that are going to come when we have expense of 7$ corn and market is half that. I have no idea what highs or lows will be but know it will be much more drastic than most expect. Excess profits now will go to manage the years where you never dream prices can get that low. Creating machinery debt will just make it worse. I am not a gloom and doomer, just a survivor. Have no idea when but know it is almost a certainty. It is just history repeating its self.
Ground will always be planted, maybe something other than corn, maybe less fertilizer, but farmers plant. Was surprised on report that Ukraine has planted almost 65% of last years acres ( I assume small grains).
