Walnut Grove MN USA | I had a 542B, piece of junk. Wouldn't start when I really needed it, bucket hinge pins always giving problems which I believe was caused by the previos owner not keeping them tight. When that cone shaped hole in the loader arm wears out the only fix is new loader arms $$$$. Mine had the ind. Ford engine the 642B has something else. Uncle had one and liked it. It is a hydro driving chains for each side. I did break one once but I was abusing it pretty hard trying to get out of a mud hole. They are one of the better machines for that time period. Probably should bring around $4000 depending on condition. | |
