OK Panhandle | What version of Quickbooks are you using?
Your error message sounds like your username or password is incorrect, or a port or SSL/TLS setting is wrong. If you've configured two-factor authentication on your Gmail account, that will interfere as well
Email settings to check in Quickbooks:
Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
Encryption: SSL/TLS
Username: Your email address
Password: Your email password
