Search on this site for “tile spoon” and you will get ideas.

I don’t have any pics now but mine hooks on two or three excavator teeth and also had 1/2 of the proper sized pipe (cut lengthwise) as part of the spoon so I can control grade with the pitch of the bucket easier. I made it for digging out/ replacing broken main tile. I can pull out clay or concrete tile easily and leave a “step” on each side to walk on letting tile flow go down spooned out trench and lay new tile.
