NE Iowa | Thanks all for your input. I guess I failed to communicate effectively my current situation and what exactly I am asking.
Short version is I'm looking for a way to stream from my iPhone to a TV with the wifi disabled on my both. Right now, screen mirroring from iphone to smart TV (not apple TV) requires both to be on same wifi network.
To back forty - I have one of those and have not been able to use it to broadcast from my iphone to a tv, but works fine when used with an ipad. I don't understand why, but maybe I should try it again. Also thanks for the link - I'll check it out.
phistick - you nailed it. My cell data is typically 25 Mbps download and 15 Mbps download - plenty fast enough to stream video.
durallymax - I checked with cell phone provider and supposedly our unlimited data plan on our phones is truly unlimited - no data 'limit' at which it throttles to a lower speed. | |
