Subject: Re: Truck laws.

Extreme SW Minnesota Iowa border
Well, on one occasion, I got pulled over with an empty car trailer, behind my 3/4 ton pickup. Just the fact that I was a farmer, told the guy that I was using the truck and trailer for farm use. I got wrote up for the whole not having a DOT number, and not having an inspection sticker. My point is, that , IF I were pulling a camper, or a boat, or a race car trailer, No one would have said anything to me. AND, WHY is it assumed that because I am a farmer, I am less safe then the guy pulling a camper or a boat? 35 years of driving, not one accident or one ticket. Now, please tell me how that makes any sense?
