Depends on the planter. On Deere planters with 32 rows or less, the rows draw evenly across the entire bottom of the tank. It is very easy to distribute a few bags in there and have them empty out even and completely. Each tank does feed half the planter.

If you get into the 36 row planter, some of the rows are doubled up so you have to keep a little extra seed towards the inside of the tanks, but no big deal.
