Sunnyside, WA | Should be able to get a Trimble/CIH/NH 500 with EZ steer and Omnistar unlock for less than $9000, then add $800 per year for Omnistar XP. We put this setup on a JD 4840 and 8 row mounted corn planter. Then I moved it to our JD 8420 to spray with and used the same AB lines just by shifting them 20' Couldn't see the rows very well in no til and the Ez Steer did a better job of driving than I would have. First time I have ever been able to watch my boom so close at 8-10 mph. Not sure how much money it made us, but the two of us that operated the planter and sprayer don't want to go back to driving ourselves now! | |
