Subject: RE: Sprayers-pull type to a self propelled

South Plains of Texas
I have a Spra-coupe 4440 with a 400 gal. tank and 80 ft. boom. I can easily spray 80 acres an hour and that is having to drive to the tender trailer. If I have someone to drag the trailer to me I can average closer to 120 acres an hour. A self propelled is so much faster and smoother than a anything on a tractor. I spray at 12 to 18 mph and they will turn so much quicker on the ends. They are also always ready to go spray. I don't have to go get a tractor and hook it and up, just get on and load it up and go. I wouldn't go back to a tractor sprayer.
