3/4 tongue and groove OSB is cheaper than plywood. Being 8' wide, would be easy to break the end seams on the joist, distance between joist would be ok for standard 3/4 OSB to span. Might feel a little wierd if you hit a seam just right but it will support alot that way.
Also price 5/4 decking boards. I used old 1 inch subsiding lumber I saved from my garage when I tore it down.
