I got another JD dealer's shop to take a look. Looks simple after reviewing the parts catalog, may wish that I had fixed it myself given the time.
The system works reasonably well for soft ground but is not to powerful. Not sure that I would buy the option again. The machine has the 'T' tank so I like the extra weight on the front in hilly fields especially when the tank is less than full. When you bump the hydro forward to quickly on steep hills sending the slosh load to the back of the tank you feel like the extra weight is the only thing keeping you from flipping backward.
