First thing to do on any Dodge truck auto transmission problem is to clean the battery terminals really well, they will cause about 90% of the problems with these transmissions (very picky about voltage). My second suggestion would be going to www.dieseltruckresource.com and doing a search on resetting the APPS ) accellerator pedal position sensor) and seeing if that helps.
