Subject: RE: 4020 Seat

Iowa
About 4 years ago, I did my Dad's 4020 and 3010 seats and suspension. New springs, shocks, bushings and metal pivots. It really helps and the adjusters work like they are suppose to, also. Now, because they had been ignored for so long, the metal bars(straps) had elongated the holes for the bushings, I never checked on the price for new straps/bars, I just used our small mig wire welder and filled in the elongated area, then used a carbide bit on a die grinder to make it back into a circle again, with a little interference fit to hold the new bushings. It wasn't that hard to do. I think you will be happy with the improvement. Dad thought I was wasting my money, until he started using the 3010 to load manure, and the 4020 to haul manure for almost a full day, then he agreed it was worth it.
