SW KS | We used to have problems with the flight shaft breaking on these short powerheads until we changed the top flighting. Instead of a short piece of flighting in the powerhead we used about a 5' flighting in the powerhead. When you tension the belt on the drive sheave it puts stress on the flighting shaft. With a longer shaft it spreads the flex out over a longer distance and keeps the shaft from breaking. | |
