Subject: RE: Skid steer sizes

S.E. Iowa
Last year we traded our 2355 Jd tractor for a Case 450 skid steer. Even though it was a great utility tractor the loaded lacked the capacity to handle big round or square bale effectively. The skid steer thiugh high priced gave us not only a superior loader system but an extremely versitile equipment platform. At 90hp and near 10.000 pounds and add on tracks we have a piece that will allow use to do construction projects that we were having to out souce before. You really need to look at the attachments that are available a modern skidsteer to see what possibities for its uses are available. Only down side was the loosing the tractor for opperating augers but their are a bunch of 1500 -3500 dollar tractors suitable for that job.
