I work with Eide Bailey and the 1031 has to be "like" exchange. They looked at it extensively and said there is no way the IRS would let that slide by. I'd sell in a heartbeat if I could 1031 them.
If you want to avoid taxes, consider selling on land contract....as long as you trust the person you are selling them too. |
