Just a heads up, have you measured the 925 compared to the 625? Reel tine spacing might be different and 625 might be 6” wider cut. Might have issues with old air bar fitting on newer head.
I appreciate pointing out those details. The air bar was originally a big iron purchase. It was on a 30’ Macdon. I “reworked” it to fit on the JD925. The reel tine spacing should be better going to the 625 …12”OC air tubes and 6” OC reel tines.
However, your comment about the width could be critical. If the 625 is 6” wider, my bar would not quite reach the carrying arms. I have excess tube but splicing (once again somehow) and adding length is not something I anticipated. I will be measuring. Thanks!
Edit to add… the fan direction is not an issue. Because it was belt drive off the combine, it is oriented properly for belt drive off the head. If I wanted to use a Crary gearbox, that would be an issue.
