I've been Keto "light" for going into my 3rd year. I try to avoid carbs with each meal. I try to avoid carbs with any snacks. I do still enjoy some ice cream but cutting back the carbs has:
1) Gotten me off Metformin and my A1C has improved dramatically, and,
2) I've lost up to 45# and I am sustaining at close to a 40# loss.
