Tuscola, IL | Not saying this is your issue because it would be an incredible coincidence. But, several years ago I had a MX285 that would not start when warm. Tested and tested the caps pump, I think I even put a new one on out of desperation. Finally, after a lot of thought and hair pulling, we decided to check the hydraulic system and found the hydraulic pump had internal damage causing the awash plate to stick and preventing the starter from being able to spin the engine fast enough to start. Once the tractor sat for 45 minutes or so it would start like it never had an issue. | |
