NC IA | A long time ago I was helping my brother work on my dad's 1020 bean head. Turns out I left to do something else on the combine and left my brother to finish working on the head. About 30 minutes into combining beans he asked me if I remembered to grab the sledge hammer and 3 1/2' solid steel shaft about 1 1/2" wide that he was using to work on the header. Let's just say out in the bean stubble I found a sledge hammer head without a mark on it and a 3 1/2' foot solid steel shaft bent in a U-shape with gouges up and down the sides. International 1460 combine. | |
