Seems like most stub rail rims for a cast center have evenly spaced bolt holes. If it is a stub rail for a stamped steel dish some have an even hole spacing, and some have grouped spacing, 2 x 4 being common, but some are 3 x 4 and there are probably other patterns also. It is retardedly ADD.
