Subject: RE: tracked tractor spraying?

Last year we pulled our Sprayer Specialties LXRD 1250 sprayer behind our Cat 55 and I loved it, this year I am back to spraying with a wheeled tractor because we bought a bigger planter and had to keep the Cat working ground and it sucks going back to wheels.  The Cat rode very smooth and followed the rows better than a wheeled tractor.  It was really wet here last spring and I was spraying corn on days when the self propelled sprayers had to wait for it to dry up or leave 8" deep ruts everywhere they went and I was leaving a 4" deep track in the worst places.
