OK Panhandle | As far as scanner hardware, I use a Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500, which makes very good scans, front and back simultaneously. It's a document scanner, but a receipt-scanning attachment is included in the box. I believe the newer model is an iX1400. I just scan my receipts to PDF and put them in a folder tree on the computer, so I'm not trying to interface it to a specific software application.
If you're thinking of using a software application to organize receipts, then I'd look for a scanner that supports TWAIN so it can be used with whatever application suits your needs. | |
