NC KS | You might have an air leak in the hose going to that row. Run your hand around there while it is running. You might look down the air hose to the little cast "snorkel" on the front of the row unit and make sure that area is clear and not piled up with dirt or debris.
The shims might help as mentioned. For the difference you are talking about, it will be a minor thing when you find it, like trying to find an air leak in a tire that has to be pumped up once a week.
