Advantage of mounted: Can back up into places or get into tighter spots (main reason dad bought mounted).
Advantage of pull: Can handle larger tank due to not having it on your rack exceeding the weight limits, if you need to go do something else with your ATV (like go have fun) just unhook and go, with pull the tank is not right behind you or if you have the kind we have the motor hits you in the back if you lean back a little, and as we found out with this new one of ours, the newer ones that are mounted are made to strap to the newer style platic formed racks and not the older tube steel racks like we have. | |
