Dallas Center IA 515-720-2463 | It could have been before 2000, but several years ago during a Farm Progress Show at the Alleman Iowa site there was a deal about the Endeavor tractor.
I believe they had gotten the attention of somebody and received some good press.
As many people trying to get some cheap or free advertising they had parked there product close to the show site. Even had signs inviting people to stop and look it over. I did. And probably have some pictures, somewhere?
At that time the Endeavor was a rebuild of a early Caterpillar Challenger, probably a 65.
The cab had been relocated to above the engine. And mounted above the tracks at the rear was a semi fifth wheel. There was also a normal drawbar.
I felt it might be a pretty good deal. With a grain trailer it could get grain out of the field during the fall and then be a pretty good sized tractor for tillage work.
Have not heard another thing about them until now.
