Can't understand why you would ever plug a 567 unless you don't have the wide pickup (non megawide has a different feeding beater like all of the older JD's). I have 5800 bales through mine with one plug (took a balled up johnson grass clump sideways - my fault). 4500 bales through a 568 with no plugs and the 567 that we run for custom has 15000 bales through it, and we might have plugged it twice baling hay in reclaimed ground. We load them down. Year before last, I cut 4.5 bales to the acre hay and put 3.5 nine foot windrows (mounted disc cutter) together and drove 8 - 9 mph. I love our Jd's, and would never go back to a NH. We ran them in Fredericksburg for a while, and it was good thing that the dealer was close. Sorry to go against ya'll though. I would have been harsher if you said a Vermeer was good! :) We've tried them all Claas, Gehl, Vermeer, NH, Jd, Hesston, and Case IH.
