Subject: RE: Forklift

South Dakota

On my 2ed Hyster love then as they have a shorter lowered mas height and turn shorter then the Toyota  that I used after mine got a bad oil leak in the middle of the seed season this spring the shop let me use the Toyota. I bought the first one used in 1990 with about 3500 hr. on it when I traded it had 8500 Hr. all I did to it was battery, alt., change oil and grease it. Traded for another Hyster that has 3300 hr. on it.

How big of one are you looking at? Will you be using it off of concrete? Will you be using it in the shop if so DO NOT get air tires. If you  want more advice email me [email protected]

My first was a 5000# now I got a 6000# lift. Sure makes a big difference in the feel when you lift a pallet of 58# seed corn. I will tell you that the 6000# Toyota was under powered compared to the 6000# Hyster.

Only gave up 3" in length by going to the 6000# as compared to the 5000#
