Subject: RE: Case air drill 2008

W. Kansas
The 2008 air drills we sold last year came with either the PRO 200, PRO 600 or Flexi-Coils monitor. Is the harness end on the drill look like an ISO connector? I would think you could update to the PRO 600 seeing that it is a 2008, I'll do a little checking or ask "Torn" in the Precision forum.

The following parts are needed to convert an ADX, SC, Flexicoil 40, or Flexicoil 50 series air cart to the ISO electronics:

Description Part number Quantity
Display, Touchscreen 87668610 1
Display, Soft key 87703363 1
Switchbox 87588879 1 (optional)
Harness, Air Cart (as equipped)
Harness, Tow Between (plastic tank only) 87631173 1
Harness, Tow Between (metal tank only) 87641706 1
Harness, Tow Behind (plastic tank only) 87538540 1
Harness, Tow Behind (metal tank only) 87641705 1
Harness, Extension (3 tank models only) 87641811 1
Controller, Rate 87588171 1
Terminator 87601142 2
Harness, Tractor* 87532170 1

*Not required if the air cart is connected to an ISO ready tractor.
Notes.

Large hoe drills equipped with a frame control module (ATX700, SD550, Flexicoil 5500) require a software conversion to the frame module. Search ASIST Knowledge for the symptom, 'The frame and flow monitoring controllers on seeding drills will not communicate with aircarts using ISO Bus'.
Flow monitoring (blockage) systems require a software conversion to the Flow Gateway and Flow Remote(s). Search ASIST Knowledge for the symptom, 'The frame and flow monitoring controllers on seeding drills will not communicate with aircarts using ISO Bus'.
Currently (January 2009), the ISO air carts do not have the software to run NH3 applications. If the customer runs NH3 at the same time, a FlexControl or Agricheck monitor is still required.

Is your cart a "Precision Air" Cart?
