Anderson County Kansas | When I won my wetland appeal, I am sure they told me that manmade wetlands arent protected by the CWA. They determined that there were old dams across the slough where people had tried damming it up a lot time ago. I believe the are classified as AW artificial wetlands on the map now. They went ahead and let me farm them. The appeal made it to the state office before the wetland determination was reversed. | |
