Price doubled here, I bought half what did last year. Probably shouldn’t have done that even. Worried this may last too long to hold our completely.

What’s your plan for N? I heard first price for spring pull 32% was over 1$ unit, this was a coop sure it’s cheaper off illinois river but not under 600.

Got about 60% of NH3 applied. Since have on farm NH3 storage have the ability to wait things out. Have seen price drops before in the spring. My guess will buy N cheaper than current pricing before spring.

I hope your right about spring price, sort of my plan but not holding my breath. We have applied every lb of N at or after planting for 10 years now not willing to change that now but it’s tempting or it was, can’t buy it now cheap anyway.

You are in a good position if you side dress. There will more than likely be some deals @ the tail end of season, with amount of profit margin on N.
. Your right but in June if don’t have what need bought you have to pay no matter price or live with 150 bushel tops corn!

Not much risk in waiting , doubt if it gets any higher than what current price is. Have been saying that folks will write checks for$1000 for spring NH3 after the recent scare tactic pricing @ $1300-$1500.
