NW Missouri | I agree, but it depends on how much you're going to use it. I used to work in a meat shop, so I'm partial to commercial equipment, but for doing one or two deer a year, I'm not going to spend $1000+ on a used commercial grinder. I've got a mid-size cabelas grinder that I probably gave $300-$400 for 10 years ago and I get along fine with it. If I had the time and all the other equipment I'd need to butcher my own beef, then it would be worth it to have a commerical grinder. | |
