East of Broken Bow | Got my wife a Ninja air fryer last year.
One of the better kitchen gadgets we have. Makes the BEST french fries, nice and crispy, and with no oil.
I sprung for the one that is also a grill, and it also makes some of the best bacon we've eaten, it drains out more of the grease than about any other way we make bacon. Also does good on baked potatoes and even grilling meat like steaks and ribs. The one nit I have to pick with meat, is that if you like it on the rare side, you need to watch it closely, because it goes from 'med rare' to 'med well' pretty quickly. Probably a by-product of how quickly it cooks.
Bacon and fries, though, seem to have a pretty decent margin for error. Just follow the directions for each, and they almost always turn out well. | |
