The other factors would be what their diet was in the years leading up to the test and the number of years the test was ran. If the trend was true, a person might expect even better results the more years of a lifetime the diets were followed.
But I agree. There was not an earth shaking difference. It would need more tests with similar results to make sure it was not just noise.
Wife and I got off vegetable oils a couple years ago in all our home cooking and we don't eat commercially prepared salad dressing when we eat out. But we don't sweat the smaller amounts like a hamburger or steak fried on a grill that had a splash of it. | |
