I tore one down off a burned 9500 today, but the shaft is pitted so it would have to be spray welded to build it back up. I would use a speedi-sleeve but the “3/4” shafts appear to be worn or undersized 5 thousandths to allow running clearance in the bushings in the pump housings. Shaft measures 0.745” The repair sleeves don’t come in a size that will fit tightly. If the shaft was 0.750 and worn a little under the seal I could use the sleeve.
I mainly need a shaft with good splines. I think the rest will be the same on all the original oval body pumps on the 9500-9600. | |
